On March 20, a cafe from a renowned brand was inaugurated in one of the premises on the ground floor of the Casa Calvet in Barcelona. The respectful adaptation of Gaudí’s design allowis lovers of his architecture to continue enjoying the qualities that the architect gave to that space.

The promoter of this initiative is the firm D.Origen, from El Albir (Alicante). The intervention in this place, originally projected as the headquarters of the Calvet family’s textile company, maintained the entire essence of that large and open space, keeping in view the system of composite metal girders and the structures as Gaudí arranged them.
