A dance production that pays homage to the great architect will be released on March 22 and 23 in the Sala Roja of the Teatros del Canal in Madrid. GAUDÍ DANCE EXPERIENCE, created and performed by the Compañía Ibérica de Danza, has the Artistic Direction of Manuel Segovia and Violeta Ruiz del Valle in the Executive Direction.

The show, structured in 10 scenes, will be, in the words of its Director, “a poetic reading recreated and intuitive and far from clichés to capture the possible moments that surrounded him, feelings, sensations and emotions”.

With live music, the performance immerses us in the rich language of Spanish Stage Dance in a story with curious details of the life and work of this extraordinary architect that lead us to his mystical and emotional interior and to a choreographed and organic geometry with the harmony and spirituality that underlies his work.

This premiere coincides with the celebration of 30 years of the Company, which in the first part of the presentation will review some of its most emblematic, representative and award-winning choreographies along the professional career with the show “Celebration”.

The Antonio Gaudí Foundation is pleased to support this initiative that proposes a new way of approaching the knowledge of the work of the great architect from Reus from a perspective that introduces us to the idea of a total work of art.
