The historical novel “Un León para Gaudí” (“A Lion for Gaudí”) was presented on September 25th at the Casa Botines Museum in León. It is based on the relationship between Gaudí and Francesc Blanch i Pons, who was the provincial architect of León during the construction of Casa Botines and also succeeded him on the Episcopal Palace in Astorga.

The authors, Maite López Blanch—Blanch’s great-great-granddaughter—and Marta Muñiz Rueda, intertwine fiction and real events to construct a plot that takes place between Barcelona and León.
