In a ceremony held in the Alfonso el Magnanimo Assembly Hall of the La Beneficencia Cultural Center of the Diputación Provincial de Valencia, the Antonio Gaudí Foundation was awarded the 2026 Special Prize, for its social and humanitarian merits and collaboration in favor of historical, cultural, environmental and landscape heritage. The award was received by the president of the Antonio Gaudí Foundation, Mario Andruet.
Personalities and institutions from social, cultural, artistic, environmental, business, professional, commercial and tourist life were also awarded. Archival, an entity for the recovery of Spain’s historic centres, is a private non-profit organisation, with 36 years of existence, dedicated to the promotion of the recovery of Spain’s historic centres in urban, commercial, artisanal, cultural, tourist and social aspects. It also carries out awareness-raising and promotion activities: congresses, meetings, conferences and round tables, publications, exhibitions, documentation and information centre, communication office, etc.
